Jumpstart 2006!
January 6, 2006, Sugar Land
Dear parents,
Beestar will start its 2006 spring semester on this Sunday (January 8). Our
Progressive Exercise Programs have expanded thanks to your feedback and
support.
We have deployed math and ELA programs from first grade through fifth grade.
They are carefully developed for enhancing children's essential knowledge
and skills. They are especially effective in preparing kids for the standard
tests, such as Texas TAKS and Virginia SOL.
We have added more GT Math for those kids who want to develop their unusual
math talents. GT Math programs follow the same school curriculum, but demand
more critical thinking, multi-step problem-solving, and spatial reasoning.
These thinking skills are essential for growing math aptitude.
Our program samples are completely updated to reflect the content presented
inside. All students should take the samples to familiarize themselves with
the exercise format and process.
Per your feedback in Beestar survey, we will implement a new recognition
category based on student's accuracy in solving problems. With this
addition, parents can compare both speed and accuracy in exercise results.
For those who still have problems starting an exercise with Internet Explorer,
we recommend an alternative free browser: FireFox.
Please read our FAQ to learn more about it.
With all the new features and new faces, we cannot wait to jumpstart the new
semester. Wish you would feel the same way. Have a wonderful 2006!
Best wishes,
Beestar Team
